Hi, I’m Kodi! I’m a wife, homeschool mom, and photographer. Becoming a mother is what first inspired me to pick up a camera — I love capturing memories of my family and friends.

I’m a Colorado native, raised in the mountains of Gilpin County, but I’ve lived in places from the Colorado Front Range to the high desert of New Mexico. Each place has its own beauty, but when we moved to Pagosa Springs in 2021, I knew this might just be the most beautiful place of all. We feel so blessed to call the San Juan Mountains home.

I’m a mountain girl at heart. I love hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and more recently, hunting — I even harvested my first bull elk in 2024, which was an unforgettable experience! My husband, our three kids, and I live in an 1800’s mountain farmhouse tucked beneath the largest pine trees I have ever seen. Life here is full — with two dogs, two cats, two fish, about forty chickens, and even a family of raccoons living under our schoolhouse.

We live on the family "farm" alongside my parents, my sister and her family across the river, and my brother and his family only 7 minutes up the road. I’m grateful for the adventure of life in our mountain town. I won't pretend there aren't challenges here at times but I know this is God's plan for us, so more than anything, I’m thankful to be right where the Lord has called us.
